TechReady Programme

Empowering the Next Generation with Digital and AI Skills

A Rhemapath Empowerment Initiatives programme preparing young people for education, work, and the future of technology.

Why TechReady?

The future belongs to young people who can confidently navigate the digital world. Yet, many students and school leavers still lack the essential skills needed to access educational opportunities, compete in the job market, and participate fully in today’s technology-driven society.

To help close this gap, Rhemapath Empowerment Initiatives (REI) is launching TechReady, a two-day digital literacy and responsible AI training programme designed for SS3 students and gap-year school leavers.

What Participants Will Learn

TechReady combines hands-on learning with real-world applications, helping participants use technology confidently for learning, research, communication, and career development.

  • 💻 Computer Literacy
  • 🌐 Internet Navigation
  • 📧 Email Communication
  • 📁 Google Workspace
  • 🔐 Cybersecurity Basics
  • 🤖 Responsible AI Use

  • 🌍 Digital Citizenship

Our Impact Goal

Our vision is bold: to reach at least 2,000 young people every year, creating a generation that is better prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the digital age.

Starting in Oyo State

The journey begins in Oyo State, where the first edition of TechReady will be implemented in three secondary schools during the third quarter of 2026, reaching at least 150 young people.

This pilot programme marks the first step toward expanding TechReady to more schools and communities across Nigeria.

Why It Matters

At REI, we believe that digital skills are no longer optional—they are essential. Every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in an increasingly digital world.

Through TechReady, we are investing in the next generation of innovators, leaders, and changemakers.
